Unit 5 - P1 Research Kayode Adewale Lesson - 26/04/19 Client Brief Requirements As an engineer I have been the opportunity to make a new product in order to make the process of using a vice on a black and decker workmate a lot easier and more flexible. The customer requirements states "You must design and make an attachment device to be used in conjunction with a Black and Decker Workmate and the RGTS Vice. The attachment must allow the vice to be securely attached to the workmate, as well as allowing one full movement; either 360 degree rotation OR 180 degree tilt, and be locked in any desired location." Furthermore to go into more detail the customer has asked for the new device to be manufactured to allow "one full movement" which means that it will rotate at either a 360 degree rotation or a 180 degree tilt.
